Scents by Sara is a female-founded luxury fragrance house rooted in embodied confidence and modern ritual.
It exists in the quiet moments – where scent shapes experience, form invites reflection, and confidence is felt rather than declared. Guided by lived experience and community, the brand creates scented pieces designed to support how we feel within ourselves and the spaces we inhabit.
At its core, Scents By Sara is about self-recognition in a culture of external validation. Each piece is created as a ritual object, returned to over time, reinforcing recognition of self, space, and experience.
WHERE IT BEGAN
Sara founded Scents By Sara from a belief in the emotional power of fragrance and the confidence that comes from recognising ourselves as we are.
For her, scent has always been deeply personal. A way to reconnect with herself, feel confident in her presence, and set the tone for the moments that shape her day.
Scents By Sara was created to offer others that same experience – the freedom to celebrate who they are while choosing how they wish to feel in a given moment.
With a background in architecture and an abiding fascination with sculpture, Sara began exploring
how this philosophy might take physical form.
When she first encountered body candles, many reflected a singular idealised silhouette, echoing the narrow beauty standards often placed on women. As someone who had often questioned these standards herself, Sara began to rethink the form entirely.
Rather than presenting a single idealised body, she began developing The Body Candle Collection – forms that acknowledge different shapes, tones, and scars.
Scents By Sara began as an expression of this belief – creating objects of scent that invite embodied recognition.

Our hand-poured body candles are shaped in recognition of real bodies: marked by size, race, illness, healing, and resilience. Bodies that carry scars, stretch marks, and lived experience - not as imperfections to conceal, but as evidence of life.
Each form honours the physical reality of women’s bodies without idealisation. Rather than aestheticising femininity, Scents By Sara humanises it - creating space for self-acceptance and quiet confidence.

OUR CRAFT
Each Scents By Sara candle is hand-poured, engraved and finished individually. Subtle variations in form, tone, and texture are embraced as evidence of process. By design, no two pieces are identical.
From formulation to packaging, every stage is approached with care. Fragrance is blended and details refined by hand, allowing each piece to retain its character. Production is defined by time, precision, and human touch.
Customisation is made-to-order, so each form reflects the individuality it honours. Scars are marked by hand with Italian 23-karat gold leaf – applied not as ornament, but as elevation. Each candle carries the imprint of its making – tactile, intentional, and distinctly its own.
